Lessons are tailored to student's needs. The options are endless. When following a book, I recommend English Unlimited by Cambridge. There is one book for every level. It is specially designed for international students, so its content is relevant and diverse. If a book is not used or extra material is suggested, podcasts, TED Talks, published articles, songs, among other resources, are used.
Art & Music Appreciation in English
Very frequently, appreciating art and classical music requires a skill that must be nurtured. In order for it to be meaningful, one must link it with daily life, and experiment it live. This can be complemented by visiting a museum or attending a concert venue.
Business English
Since the specialization needed varies from person to person, the choosing of the material is done after an evaluation of the student's abilities and needs.
English Tutoring
Using the methodology of Teaching for Understanding, sessions are planned based on the students' needs and objectives. This service is available for children, teenagers, and adults.
Philosophy for Children in English
As a trained moderator in Philosophy for Children, I can understand the importance of exercising our minds so as to ask the right questions, more than needing a certain answer. For me, observing how kids learn this ability has been a kind of miracle.
English for Kids through Arts & Crafts
The methodology used is Teaching for Understanding. The lesson involves the child's curious mind and creativity, while seamlessly building up his/her English skills.
Guided Reading Book Group
This group's objective is to encourage fluent, skilled readers. There are three stages for every session: before, during, and after reading. You will improve attention to detail; build fluency, expand vocabulary knowledge, and
develop reading comprehension skills.
